Crane’s Lettra is a unique paper made from 100% pure cotton linters – a byproduct of the cotton industry. It is manufactured especially for letterpress printing. With the feel of fabric, and the look of handmade paper, the soft and luxurious surface is perfect for the subtle impressions made by letterpress. Crane’s Lettra sheets are unsized and uncalendered, leaving the fibres relatively uncompacted. This gives the sheet an extra bulky feeling that absorbs ink while remaining soft to the touch.
